Genre: Romance, Fan fiction

Note: This was what first came to my mind since I love writing fanfiction.. Peace tayo Ma'am!!!! :)

The day of the first meeting in CMSC2 WX-1L came..

Lanie was confident that she would make this class an interesting one that would make the students squeeze out their creative juices..

Entering the classroom, she held her head up high and greeted the students.
"Good morning, my name is Ma'am Lanie Danila and I would be your lab instructor in CMSC2. Is there any foreigner in this class?"

Hearing the question, a student raised his hand and Lanie walked to the student's unit. "Seeing a familiar face, Lanie stopped to think if this would really be possible. "Name?" she asked. The student looked straight to Lanie's face and said, "Koike Teppei."

"Koike?" Lanie said, astonished. The students turned their way as they heard the hint of surprise in their instructor's voice.

Lanie cleared her throat and paved her way back to the front of the class. Distracted, she can't help but be conscious because of Koike's prescence. As the class ended, she grabbed Koike's arm and said, "Koike, what are you doing here?"

The boy smiled as he gently removed Lanie's hand and held it tight, "I told you I'll follow you." The teacher blushed and swallowed a breath.

"Students are not allowed to stay in the lab outside class hours. You should leave, now." Lanie said as she removed the boy's hand from hers and went to clean up her things.

"Are you pushing me away Lan?" Koike asked with a hint of sadness in his eye. Lanie faced him and said in a loud voice, "I'm an instructor now and you're a student in this university. You should stop acting this way. It's not that I'm pushing you away. I just need space."

Koike looked at her with a pained face. "Fine. Space it is." The boy rushed out of the room. Lanie was supposed to shout out his name but her mind won't let her. He could only watch the boy's back as he left in tears.

"Mind over matter Lanie. Love is not your priority but your family. Koike would definitely understand. In due time." She could only mumble these as she tried to push away her tears. She could do nothing since this was the path she chose. A path without Koike. A path without half of her heart..

-THE END-
now that's a short story.. shortest one i've ever written :)
